"I visited Zan Asian for dinner with my family. Lovely atmosphere and staff. We ordered the pandan chicken, malaysian laksa, nasi lemak and redang beef. I would definitely recommend the pandan chicken, laksa and beef brisket. The beef was so juicy and succulent. It was delicious. The Malaysian stir fried noodles weren't bad too but they tasted like any other Chinese takeout chowmein. The curry is roti prata was nice but the roti felt like it was cooked from frozen pack."

"Nothing beats a chilled weekend in Leeds city centre – sun out, good vibes, and proper Malaysian food that hits different Big shoutout to the flavours – fresh, rich, and full-on satisfying. We started with the drinks and loved both. The Galaxy Strawberry was super refreshing – sweet, fizzy, and looked gorgeous too. And the Iced Milo? Classic. Just like the Milo we had in Malaysia before. The Chicken Satay Skewers were a highlight. Juicy, smoky, and that satay sauce? Could happily dip everything in it. We’d 100% order these again and again!! Such an absolute crowd-pleaserThe Crispy Duck with pancakes was similar to Peking Duck. Crispy skin and that spicy hoisin twist gave it a bit of fire. Wrapped it all up with cucumber and spring onion~perfect little bites. For mains, the Sizzling Black Pepper Beef was exactly what we were craving in this cosy, cooler weather. Came out bubbling hot, tender strips of beef, packed with flavour. Hot plate, hot protein... you get the vibe. The Hainanese Chicken Rice was more mellow but still so satisfying – tender chicken, seasoned rice, and that garlic chilli sauce tied it all together nicely. It’s one of those dishes you keep going back to between bites of everything else. Already planning round two to try their Nasi Lemak (Malaysia’s national dish!) and those fluffy rotis with rich curry sambal Bonus: loads of veggie + plant-based options too Heads up: 20% OFF when you book online from 29 Sep to 5 Oct 2025!

"We visited this place for 3 consecutive days during our time in Leeds, always coming back for either lunch or dinner. The food reminded us so much of home it’s one of the closest we’ve had to authentic Malaysian cuisine here, and it truly made us happy to taste those familiar flavours in Leeds. Dishes we tried: • Curry Laksa • Rojak Mee • Nasi Goreng • Kung Fu Cha (Hor Fun) • Char Kuey Tiaw (prefer more char and spicy) • Salted Egg Butter Chicken • Ayam Goreng Pandan (this one was just satisfactory) Their chilli oil sedap. Overall, the flavours were close to spot on and very satisfying. As Malaysians, we were delighted with the authenticity and variety. We’ll definitely be returning. A big thank you to the friendly staff for their warm service!"

"We have visited this restaurant twice now, and we can’t wait to come back again and again! We have tried four different dishes so far, and the Asam Curry and Hainanese Chicken Rice are hands-down our favourites, they are absolutely delicious! The portions are also very generous, so we always leave with happy, full stomachs. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for amazing Malaysian food!"
